Skatestock is an open skate session held at the Lee and Joe Jamail Skate Park, where attendees get a chance to meet and greet skateboarding legends like Tony Alva. This massive lifestyle family event played host to hundreds of skateboarders of all ages. The vibe was incredible, and the weather couldn’t be more perfect. We felt right at home as the DJ’s spun Hip Hop classics throughout the afternoon. Live bands played in between DJ breaks. O.G.s were out in full force, which was an indicator of how far the culture has come. Would you believe many of them still skate?! There were graffiti artists who spent the day tagging. If you love skateboarding videos, check out Skatestock III. See you next year!
