What is Maker Happy Hour? Houston has a vibrant creative, start-up community that, unfortunately, slides under local media's radar. To create awareness about Houston’s growing tech and start-up scene, Jeff Reichman created the Maker Happy Hour, a networking event to help creatives make, market, and sell their creations. Jeff Reichman states, “The maker community is so diverse, and many people don't know one another! So we thought we'd get everyone together, tap a keg, and see what happens. Our start-up community has been growing like crazy over the past few years.
