Redhawk Native, American Arts Council, hosted the 18th annual Gateway to Nations NYC Native American Heritage Celebration at Floyd Bennett Field in Brooklyn. The festivities included Native American food, music, crafts, art, pony rides, and a live bird of prey exhibit area! The celebration attracts over 500 Native American artists, educators, singers, dancers, and performing groups across the Americas. The Pow Wow dance competition was intense and attracted the most spectators. The Redhawk Native American Arts Council is a not-for-profit organization founded and maintained by Native American artists and educators residing in New York City.
