For the past six years, ordinary adults have emerged out of nowhere for an annual Halloween ritual called The Montrose Crawl. This Halloween tradition differed as adults shed the skins of their daily, mundane routines to roam Westheimer to lay waste food and drinks. We risked our lives to capture this devastation on film because most journalists refuse to go near this neighborhood on Halloween. We bravely accepted the task and armed ourselves with powerful lenses to document these creatures and their nocturnal activities on film.
We tried to blend in with these creatures by maintaining a low profile, but they spotted us! As the trick-or-treaters approached, we feared for our lives. We kept our composure and played along. Their dancing was unbearable as we watched in horror. They consumed beer and food at alarming rates. Like zombies, they moved from one establishment to the next, devouring everything in their path.
After six hours of following the mob, we grew weary. Afraid that we would succumb to their hunger and sadistic Halloween rituals, we decided to flee. We cannot tell you if or how any survivors remain. For all we know, Montrose is now a barren wasteland void of beer and food. We warn you that this video may not be suitable for everyone. Watch at your own risk.
