What’s the best way to celebrate Houston’s SLAB history? With a procession or parade of course! The term SLAB stands for Slow, Low and Bangin. Houston’s 1st SLAB Parade and Festival was a celebration of its automotive heritage and Hip Hop. Like their ancestors before them, these urban chariots geared up for battle with candy-colored paint, custom sound systems, neon, fifth wheels, and a long list of other custom gear. The event also featured live music, dance spoken word performances, and street art.
