Native American's danced throughout the day as Redhawk Native American Arts Council hosted its vibrant,18th annual Gateway to Nations NYC Native American Heritage Celebration at Floyd Bennett Field in Brooklyn. The festivities included Native American food, music, crafts, art, pony rides and a live bird of prey exhibit area!
The celebration attracts over 500 Native American artists, educators, singers, dancers and performing groups from across the Americas. The Pow Wow dance competition was intense and attracted the most spectators. The Redhawk Native American Arts Council is a not for profit organization founded and maintained by Native American artists and educators residing in the New York City.
